Payment services provider Worldline has announced that it has expanded its collaboration with Deliverect to deliver smart self-ordering kiosks across the UK.
Through this partnership, Worldline is set to merge its SoftPOS solution with Deliverect’s all-in-one kiosk system, recently further improved through the company’s acquisition of Tabesto. By working together, Worldline and Deliverect aim to support restaurants and quick-service venues in optimising ordering and payment, minimising queues, and augmenting the customer experience.
Currently, the kiosk solution is live in over 12 European countries, with Worldline and Deliverect now planning to launch it to several British businesses operating across several locations. The move comes as an addition to Deliverect’s collaboration with Worldline’s secure and scalable payment infrastructure and intends to equip UK operators with access to a solution already leveraged across Europe.
Enabled by Worldline Tap on Mobile, the kiosk will allow hospitality operators to accept payments directly on the device without requiring any additional hardware or encountering a difficult setup. Also, the solution supports all major payment methods, including contactless cards and mobile wallets, and is certified under PCI-MPoC 1.0.
At the time of writing, the solution was available to businesses operating in the hospitality sector in the UK through Deliverect, providing a cost-effective option to improve in-store experiences.

Moreover, not long before this, Worldline partnered with YeePay to facilitate cross-border payment opportunities in China’s aviation and travel landscape. The collaboration combined Worldline’s extensive global acquiring network and expertise in European aviation payments and YeePay’s knowledge of China’s payment ecosystem. The move sought to allow the companies to provide a comprehensive and secure one-stop payment solution, as well as to offer efficient cross-border transactions for international carriers delivering services in China and Chinese airlines' growing global presence.
