Verifone has expanded its collaboration with Deluxe to enable a wider integration of Verifone’s Victa devices into the Deluxe Payments Platform.
The move is aimed at simplifying in-store payment operations for software providers and enterprise merchants using Deluxe’s solutions.
Under the new agreement, Deluxe and its independent software vendors (ISVs) will be able to incorporate Verifone’s latest hardware into their offerings, allowing for wider deployment of in-store payment options. The integration is intended to support faster market entry and streamline device onboarding.
Scalable hardware integration focused on security
The Victa device line is designed to operate across a range of in-store payment environments, including mobile, countertop, and biometric-enabled checkouts. These devices are built to be compatible with existing point-of-sale systems and offer features such as palm and facial recognition, as well as SoftPOS and peripheral expansion options such as payment pucks.
Verifone has stated that its Victa products comply with current PCI PTS 6.x security standards and are being developed for future PCI 7.x compliance. Remote anti-skimming measures are included to help reduce fraud risk. In addition to security features, the hardware line has been designed with environmental considerations. By 2026, Verifone plans for 60% of the plastics used in Victa devices to be recycled, and the company has already eliminated single-use plastics in packaging.
Officials from Verifone said the ongoing relationship with Deluxe provides a simplified pathway for software developers to roll out secure, scalable payment capabilities. According to Verifone representatives, the alignment allows providers to bring solutions to market without major changes to existing infrastructure.
Deluxe representatives noted that integrating the Victa device family into their platform supports faster onboarding and device activation. They stated that the effort is aimed at improving the reliability of in-store payment experiences across their merchant network. The improved partnership is positioned to benefit software and solution developers by expanding access to certified hardware and creating efficiencies across the in-store payments ecosystem.
