Napier AI and Delta Capita have partnered to deliver end-to-end KYC and AML compliance solutions for financial institutions.
The agreement combines technology and advisory capabilities from both companies to address inefficiencies across the compliance lifecycle.
Financial institutions typically run onboarding, KYC, and AML functions across separate systems, teams, and processes. According to the companies, this fragmentation can result in delayed client onboarding, higher volumes of investigations, and increased cost and complexity within compliance operations. With this in mind, the partnership between Napier AI and Delta Capita is intended to reduce these inefficiencies by connecting previously siloed functions.
Combining technology and managed services
The initiative merges Delta Capita's client lifecycle management platform, Karbon, together with its advisory and managed services capabilities, with Napier AI's Continuum suite, which includes Client Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Transaction Screening solutions. The combined offering is designed to provide financial institutions with coordinated support across the compliance lifecycle, from initial client onboarding through to ongoing monitoring and investigation.
In addition, the companies stated that the arrangement differs from offerings that provide either technology or outsourced compliance operations separately, as it combines onboarding and KYC technology, AML compliance solutions, and specialist advisory and managed services within a single proposition. This is intended to give institutions flexibility in accessing expertise, infrastructure, and operational support according to their specific requirements.
Expected implications for institutions
Through the process of connecting KYC and AML processes, the companies expect institutions to achieve faster client onboarding, fewer false positives in investigations, and reduced operational workloads, alongside improvements in auditability and regulatory confidence. The partnership also aims to reduce manual handovers between systems and teams, allowing institutions to direct resources toward higher-risk cases.
Greg Watson, CEO of Napier AI, said financial institutions are managing increasingly complex financial crime risks while under pressure to deliver faster and more accurate customer experiences, and that the partnership with Delta Capita brings together complementary technology and expertise across the compliance lifecycle.
Sean Vickers, CLM Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of CLM Advisory at Delta Capita, said institutions need to understand who their customers are and maintain this understanding as relationships and risks evolve, and that combining Continuum with the Karbon platform creates an offering intended to help institutions transform both systems and operating models.
The partnership positions both companies to serve financial institutions seeking to modernise compliance technology and operating models jointly, rather than addressing these areas through separate vendors.
