Fideo Intelligence has launched Fideo Lens, an investigative intelligence platform designed to uncover hidden identity and financial crime networks.
Starting from a single identity signal, investigators can use the tool to visualise and connect related data, turning fragmented identity information into interactive investigative intelligence within minutes. The company states that this is intended to reduce the time analysts spend searching manually across multiple systems.
Addressing coordinated fraud networks
According to Fideo Intelligence, fraud and financial crime increasingly involve coordinated networks that combine aliases, shared devices, and interconnected accounts and organisations. Traditional search-based investigation methods often obscure these relationships, requiring analysts to piece together fragmented data from disconnected systems before a full network becomes visible. This process can delay action on high-risk cases.
Fideo Lens consolidates people, entities, devices, identifiers, behaviours, and activity within a single interface, allowing investigators to visualise connections and assess how individual signals may relate to one another. The company said this single view is intended to support faster investigation, more confident decision-making, and earlier identification of potentially coordinated fraudulent activity.
Chris Harrison, chief executive officer of Fideo Intelligence, said fraud and financial crime rarely occur as isolated events, and instead play out across networks of connected identities, devices, and organisations. In addition, he noted that investigators typically have to piece these relationships together manually, and that Fideo Lens is intended to help fraud and financial crime teams uncover hidden connections more quickly.
Platform capabilities and target users
The network view is aimed at financial institutions, fintechs, payments companies, investigative platforms, and public-sector technology partners analysing high-risk activity. Fideo Intelligence also positions the platform for fraud, AML, and risk platforms, government technology partners, federal integrators, analytics providers, collections platforms, and organisations supporting enforcement or recovery work.
Fideo Lens draws on the company's Identity Fraud Intelligence Network (iFIN), which spans digital activity, offline attributes, phone and email data, location and IP information, professional sources, breach intelligence, and behavioural data. The platform provides interactive relationship mapping through graph-linked intelligence, entity resolution capabilities designed to distinguish between identities and detect potential aliases, and explainable results with reason codes intended to help analysts document investigative decisions. Fideo Intelligence said the underlying intelligence is refreshed continuously as new signals become available, with the aim of surfacing emerging relationships and changing risk patterns.
Positioned alongside existing systems
Fideo Intelligence has described Lens as a complement to, rather than a replacement for, an organisation's existing fraud, AML, or investigative technology. The platform is designed to be used alongside alerts, case management systems, and other internal systems of record, providing a connected view of identity intelligence rather than a standalone case-handling tool.
The company said that reducing the time investigators spend moving between systems is intended to free up capacity for analysing complex cases. It added that improved network visibility could help teams recognise coordinated activity earlier, identify broader fraud networks, and make risk decisions based on more complete information. Harrison said analysts should not have to spend most of their time moving between disconnected systems, and that Fideo Lens is designed to turn fragmented identity data into a clearer view of the people, accounts, and devices involved in a case.
