Serrala has partnered with IFS to integrate its accounts receivable and payable automation into the IFS Cloud platform.
The agreement adds Serrala's accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) solutions to the IFS ecosystem, giving joint customers additional tools to manage invoicing, payments, and cash flow within their existing IFS Cloud environment.
According to the companies, implementing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system such as IFS Cloud typically represents an early stage in building a connected finance function. Finance teams often continue to carry out receivables and payables tasks manually, which can slow down processes, reduce visibility, and tie up working capital.
Through the partnership, IFS Cloud customers can extend their existing ERP setup with Serrala's automation capabilities without changing their underlying ERP infrastructure. The integration covers invoice processing, approvals, payments, cash application, and collections. Moreover, the companies state that this is intended to strengthen financial control, support compliance, and provide finance departments with clearer visibility into liabilities, cash flow, and payment performance.
Access to predictive finance capabilities
Customers using the integrated offering will also have access to the Serrala Finance Platform, which uses data from IFS Cloud to generate predictive insights, benchmarking, and real-time recommendations across AR and AP processes. The companies describe this as a shift from transaction-based processing toward more proactive cash management and operational decision-making for finance leaders.
Commenting on the partnership, Serrala's Chief Ecosystem Officer said the collaboration reflects a shared aim of helping customers modernise finance operations and gain additional value from their ERP investment, noting that the combination of Serrala's automation tools and the IFS platform is designed to reduce manual processes and improve visibility across AR and AP.
IFS's Senior Vice President, Commercial, said customers are focused on operational efficiency and maximising the value of their technology investments, adding that the partnership allows companies to complement IFS Cloud with established AR and AP automation capabilities.
Extending an existing ecosystem relationship
The partnership builds on Serrala's existing presence within the IFS ecosystem. The companies said the integration extends finance automation capabilities to organisations operating in manufacturing, energy and utilities, field service management, engineering and construction, and distribution, without requiring changes to their existing ERP environment.
