Affirm has extended its partnership with Wayfair, an online home store, to offer its payment options at checkout.
The partnership makes Affirm’s trusted payment options more accessible to home shoppers, aiming to simplify how consumers discover and use its solutions when purchasing home products. This comes as Wayfair’s Way Day sales event is running, right before the holiday shopping season. Eligible shoppers who are looking to buy furniture, home décor, or holiday gifts can now choose Affirm when checking out online or in-store across the entire Wayfair family of brands, including Wayfair, Joss & Main, AllModern, Birch Lane, and Perigold.
More choice at checkout
Wayfair aims to continue offering more ways for its customers to conveniently purchase the items they need, which includes flexible payment options. The company’s partnership with Affirm began in 2017, and grew as shoppers increasingly started to adopt Affirm’s solutions. Integrating Affirm’s pay-over-time service directly at checkout offers customers more clarity and convenience as they get ready for holiday shopping.
Affirm is available both in-store and online. Online shoppers select it as a payment option at checkout, while in-store customers can scan a QR code with their smartphone to get started. In both cases, clients complete a fast eligibility check and, if approved, they will have the option to choose a customised biweekly or monthly payment plan up to 36 months. The rates are 0% APR, and Affirm never charges late or hidden fees.
The partnership extension comes after Affirm started its collaboration with yet another online shopping platform, Fanatics. Fanatics is a digital sports platform spanning team and league stores across the US, with selected shops in the UK and Canada. With the new offering, eligible shoppers can split their payments every two weeks or choose a monthly plan at checkout by simply selecting Affrim, sharing a few details, and getting a quick eligibility decision in real-time.
