Wincor Nixdorf has acquired the remaining 49 percent of Wincor AutoTell LLC, a majority-owned subsidiary of Wincor Nixdorf that specializes in the development of software applications and complementary management tools for the domestic and international self-service markets.

Wincor Nixdorf acquired 51 percent of AutoTell Systems in 2000 as part of an ongoing strategy to increase sales, software technical support and market presence in North and South America. The remaining acquisition will continue to strengthen Wincor Nixdorfs self-service offering in the U.S. through Wincor AutoTells next-generation multi-vendor software solutions. Wincor AutoTell will now operate under the name Wincor Nixdorf. The acquisition combines Wincor AutoTells software development and support expertise with Wincor Nixdorfs software and hardware platforms, resulting in best-in-class products and solutions. Wincor AutoTells solutions are based on Wincor Nixdorfs ProClassic architecture, which adheres to the latest open standards and provides vendor independence.
