Western Union renews agreement with Walmart Canada

Western Union has extended its agreement with the Canadian division of retailer Walmart for a period of three years.

Under the new agreement, Walmart locations in Canada will continue to provide Western Union global money transfer services.

Consumers can access Western Union services through multiple touch points, including local retail stores, website, banks and their mobile phones.

In recent news, Western Union and Acxsys, a Canadian provider of electronic payment services, have entered a partnership with financial institution BMO Bank of Montreal, the retail banking arm of BMO Financial Group.
