Cruz, who has been with the company since 1999, has held several positions in the company, his most recent being Manager of Quality Assurance and Director of Quality Management Systems. Cruz has been trained as a “Six Sigma Black Belt†and will continue leadership of the Downers Grove, Ill., manufacturing facility. In addition, he will serve as a Corporate Director managing the VCT Qualteq Division in South Plainfield, N.J. Versatile Card Technology is the leader in card technology and is known as a high quality manufacturer of secure and non-secure plastic cards, contactless cards, smartcards and software integration, with sales, service and production facilities in Germany, India, Turkey, Singapore, Mexico and Brazil.
