Thursday 22 April 2004 10:38 CET | News

Verizon Wireless and Triton have entered into an agreement where Verizon Wireless will support a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) option on Triton ATMs.

The Verizon Wireless option will be offered on new ATMs, coming from the factory fully configured and tested, and as an upgrade to more than fifty thousand Triton ATMs installed across the United States that are using dial-up phone lines. Additionally, this option will be offered to those Triton customers currently running CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data), which is being phased out at the end of this year.
