Northwestern University has chosen U.S. Bank to provide banking services on its campuses. This new relationship includes a variety of U.S. Bank financial products and services for students, faculty and staff.

U.S. Bank will open a full-service branch at Northwesterns Evanston, Ill., campus on July 1, 2004, inside the Norris University Center. U.S. Bank will also operate seven ATMs on that campus, as well as three ATMs on the Chicago campus. In addition, U.S. Bank will provide the banking functionality for Northwesterns multi-use identification card, the WildCard, including student checking and workplace banking products and services. The U.S. Bank ATMs, WildCard services and campus branch will be available beginning July 1. The WildCard provides official identification and a variety of conveniences for more than 25,000 students, faculty and staff. The WildCard, in addition to serving as official campus identification, provides access to campus photocopy machines, student laundry facilities, health services, the pharmacy and computer labs, and is an alternative to cash at beverage and snack machines. For cardholders who are also U.S. Bank customers, the WildCard will double as their ATM card on and off campus. The campus ATMs will also dispense phone minutes, postage stamps and other banking services in addition to traditional cash deposit and withdrawal functions. U.S. Bank has 84 ATMs in the Chicagoland area, among 4,472 ATMs nationwide. The full-service campus branch will offer the Northwestern students, faculty and staff the ability to conduct banking transactions on their terms.
