Triversity Adds Features to Transactionware GM

Triversity has released Transactionware GM Release 9.0, the companys client/server POS solution.

Designed for general merchandise and multi-format retailers, Transactionware GM is a highly configurable POS solution suite that includes a Business Rules Engine, allowing retailers to quickly and easily configure Transactionware GM - without the need for custom development. In addition to the POS application, Transactionware GM includes a powerful store-level management application that provides in-store and back-office functions such as reporting, time and attendance, file maintenance, cash management, label and sign printing, and store-level perpetual inventory control. Key enhancements of Transactionware GM Release 9.0 include: -- Increased support for centralized transaction services including Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT); stored value cards; loyalty points and redemption; and customer profiling, giving retailers more flexibility in selecting or changing EFT providers. -- Enhanced pricing and discount capabilities, providing support for increased levels of pricing complexity and discounting, with automatic triggering of negotiated corporate discounts at the point of sale. -- Improved access to customer information in real-time, allowing cashiers to instantly retrieve information from third-party customer databases at the point of sale. -- Increased Mobile POS and inventory capabilities, including full-item inquiry and support for advanced shipping notices. As with previous versions of Transactionware GM, Release 9.0 supports Global Trade Identification Numbers of up to 18 digits, ensuring full compliance with Sunrise 2005 legislation.
