Key enhancements of Transactionware GM Release 9.0 include: -- Increased support for centralized transaction services including Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT); stored value cards; loyalty points and redemption; and customer profiling, giving retailers more flexibility in selecting or changing EFT providers. -- Enhanced pricing and discount capabilities, providing support for increased levels of pricing complexity and discounting, with automatic triggering of negotiated corporate discounts at the point of sale. -- Improved access to customer information in real-time, allowing cashiers to instantly retrieve information from third-party customer databases at the point of sale. -- Increased Mobile POS and inventory capabilities, including full-item inquiry and support for advanced shipping notices. As with previous versions of Transactionware GM, Release 9.0 supports Global Trade Identification Numbers of up to 18 digits, ensuring full compliance with Sunrise 2005 legislation.
