Trintech Appoints Dr. Jim Mountjoy to its Board of Directors

Trintech has appointed Dr. Jim Mountjoy as a Non-Executive Director to the Trintech Board. Dr. Mountjoy joins the Trintech Board bringing 30 years of business and commercial experience in the IT industry.

In 1990, he co-founded Euristix Limited, a software development company which specialized in telecommunications signaling systems solutions development. In February 1999, Euristix was acquired by Fore Systems Inc. which was subsequently acquired in April 1999 by GEC, a UK based telecommunications equipment vendor which then changed its name to Marconi. Dr. Mountjoy currently acts as Non-executive Director in a number of companies in the technology sector; he is a Director of the Science Foundation of Ireland, Chairman of ICT Ireland R&D Advisory Committee and an Advisory Board member of a number of Irish based Venture Capital companies.
