TietoEnator and Pen-Sam have signed an IT outsourcing agreement within the areas of Operations and Application Management. As part of the deal, TietoEnator employs 27 persons from Pen-Sam.

The agreement with Pen-Sam will be effective as of 1 January 2005 and covers the years 2005-2009 with an option to prolong. The agreement builds on a partnership that flexibly provides Pen-Sam with operations management services and continuous maintenance and development of existing applications. It also offers direct savings in connection with phasing out applications as a result of technological re-adjustments. In connection with the agreement, TietoEnator Processing & Network has established a new Service Management unit in Denmark with the clear objective of gaining market shares on the Danish IT outsourcing market. It will become an integrated part of TietoEnators global Operation Management Services network. With the new unit, TietoEnator is able to offer to its Danish customers complete and coherent outsourcing solutions. This agreement contributes to the growth that the Danish unit has experienced throughout last year. TietoEnator now employs more than 350 people in Denmark.
