The New York State Lottery deploys SSL certificates from Comodo for online transactions security

The New York State Lottery has teamed up with US internet security products provider Comodo to deploy the latters SSL certificates in order to secure its online transactions.

Under the terms of the agreement, the New York State Lottery is set to implement digital certificates provided by Comodo to encrypt the information transmitted over the internet during business operations such as electronic invoicing, online purchasing and shipping.

Comodo provides PKI SSL authentication services, code signing, content verification and email certificates, as well PC security software, vulnerability scanning services for PCI compliance, secure e-mail and fax services for e-merchants and other companies which conduct financial transactions online.
