The Data Center, a division of Texas State Bank, has deployed S2s OpeN/2 platform to drive its 160 ATMs.

Texas State Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Texas Regional Bancshares with assets over $3.9 billion and provides complete data processing services to 25 other independent banks throughout Texas. The banks implementation takes advantage of leading-edge technologies to position itself for growth, with OpeN/2 deployed on the Stratus® Intel-based ftServer 3300 system in a Windows 2000 environment and Microsoft SQL Server as relational database server. Texas State Banks multiphase project to consolidate data center operations to one platform has already achieved impressive target milestones at significantly reduced cost of ownership. S2 Systems OpeN/2 engine met the banks requirements for interoperability, flexibility, extendability and scalability to reliably handle increasingly large transaction volumes. S2s direct support capabilities and OpeN/2s proven technology contrast against comparable solution approaches that are untested, costly and difficult to implement without compromising payment infrastructure. Texas State Bank is now firmly positioned to expand their presence even further and grow their business at an increasingly vast array of customer touch points.
