Switzerlands KABA Group Selects Tibco Portal Solution

For many years, the Kaba Group has been achieving its growth objectives by following an expansion strategy balanced between organic growth and a number of acquisitions. The group now has subsidiaries in over 50 countries, and most of these companies have their own Web sites and their own Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server, used to check user directories, and allow verified staff to access enterprise applications like email and ERP. Kaba decided to simplify this approach by having one single portal with one corporate LDAP for staff and trading partners, and by integrating the principal corporate applications with this portal. The portal project, which started with the implementation of the corporate LDAP server, has been completed. The TIBCO solution incorporates this into its integration framework and will subsequently connect the other corporate back-office applications, including email, collaboration, ERP and databases. This will provide KABA with seamless internal as well as external processes.
