He will head up business development and reseller channel management for integrating payments for retail, accounting and e-commerce application development companies and their resellers. Hicks has served in the point-of-sale industry since 1986, where his 19-year sales career has been spent building strong vendor relationships. For the past seven years Hicks served as channel manager for POS developers and resellers of GO Software, where he was instrumental in adding the first gift and loyalty programs, the first electronic check conversion and the first Canadian debit features to the GO Software product suite. In addition, he designed and implemented the Reseller Help Desk and Developer training programs. GO Software, now VeriFone is a manufacturer of the electronic payment processing software PCCharge and RiTA. Previously, he provided integrated PC POS solutions at Indiana Cash Drawer Company where he supported ICRDA, now RSPA, and its members including the top software developers. Hicks started his career as a channel manager for a national UNIX computer distributor where he successfully sold one of the first smart PC-based ECRs. Here he aided resellers through training programs, technical support and marketing.
