The new Spb Wallet 2.0 can store private information such as PINs, passwords, keys, account, passport, and credit card numbers, so that users do not have to remember such information themselves. Spb Wallet 2.0 consists of two parts: an application for the device and a desktop application. Spb Wallet integrates toolbars into Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, with users having to employ the ‘fill page’ button in order to fill in forms on websites. The auto-fill feature is also available for mobile devices.The software comes in versions for non- and touchscreen Windows Mobile devices, Symbian Series 60 smartphones (including Nokia 5800 touch screen) and Apple’s iPhone and iPod. The iPhone/iPod version is also to be made available in App Stores in US and Canada in the near future. Spb Wallet stores sensitive information AES 256-encrypted and password-protected, supports automatic lockup, clipboard cleanup, and is designed to protect the user from phishing attacks.
Users will be able to select a particular bank card from the wallet by looking for card pictograms, which look identical to the real cards. All the user’s cards can be synchronised with a mobile device, a network share or the users’ Gmail mail box. Spb Wallet 2.0 offers an integrated online data base of over 7,000 card pictograms for the most popular cards and the option to order more icons for free.
The new Wallet 2.0 for Windows Mobile boasts Autocomplete for PIE, new finger-friendly UI, adaptive skins, smart scrolling, gestures, animation effects, and a new logon panel. The desktop version offers integration with web browsers, automatic supply and capture of websites login information, password generator, a migration wizard from custom CSV formats and other wallet applications.
