In his new position, Thomas Hitzer will be responsible for leading Sokymat Groups sales and marketing team with the aim of consolidating the companys role as a leading presence in the global RFID market. He will be in charge of carrying out sales activities and marketing initiatives in all the three major segments served by Sokymat: access & security, industrial automation & supply chain management, and animal identification. Thomas Hitzer joined Sokymat in 1999 and was formerly Vice President of Sokymats Cards & Labels business. Thomas Hitzer, who reports to André Ziegler, joined Sokymat as Product Marketing Director and throughout his six-year tenure he has been Vice President Cards & Labels and then Vice President Sales responsible for the Americas, Asia, Italy and Spain. Before joining Sokymat, Thomas Hitzer worked for 10 years in the RFID industry with Temic/Atmel.
