Retail Pro Surpasses Expectations at the NASCAR Daytona 500 and Auto Club 500

Island Pacific has successfully implemented Retail Pro at the International Speedway Corporations premier racing events -- the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Florida and the Auto Club 500 in Fontana, California.

At the Daytona 500 alone, over 240 terminals assisted International Speedway Corporation (ISC) in setting milestones for revenue, enhancing the fan experience via quicker transactions, and providing ISC management with real time information on sales and inventory levels. This was the largest single site deployment of Retail Pro. Island Pacific teamed up with business partner, POSabilities to bring ISC a new Enterprise Management System, which connects ISC headquarters to their subsidiarys (Americrown) merchandise management centers in Daytona, trackside inventory warehouses, over 40 18 Wheelers, trackside stores built specifically for races, and a handful of permanent store locations throughout the United States.
