Queensland Fuel Group (QFG) has deployed point-of-sale (POS) and back-office technology from Radiant Systems to approximately 40 related sites.

South East Queensland Fuel and Central Queensland Petroleum Pty. Ltd., two subsidiaries of QFG, are combined one of the largest fuel distributors of CalTex -- the Australian arm of ChevronTexaco. The Australian market has been dynamic and highly competitive over the past few years with the entry of the countrys largest retail companies into the petroleum retail sector. Traditional petroleum retailers like QFG and its subsidiaries have responded to this intense competition by further improving operational efficiency and by focusing on their core competency of convenience for the consumer in a hurry. The solution for QFG includes Radiants Total Care service which comprises Help Desk support and on-site parts and technician hardware maintenance. This service complements the benefits inherent in the robust Radiant touch-screen POS terminal, which is purpose built for the convenience store environment and delivers style, ease of use and reliability. Radiants advanced exchange service methodology caters for all components of the retail system, POS and Back- office, and provides fast return to service that minimizes disruption to the business and further extends the life of the technology solution. Radiant has been actively serving the Australian market for more than 20 years. Radiants local team of more than 80 staff, along with Radiants strategic service and solution partners, care for the needs of clients of all sizes across the continent.
