Canadas largest music download provider Puretracks, has introduced Paystone as a new payment method. Puretracks.com selected Paystone Technologies micropayment solution as a customer option for processing payment for music downloads ranging in price from 99 cents for a single song track and $7.99 for an album. Puretracks.com includes an extensive selection of music content from all five major record labels as well as a wide range of Canadian and international independent labels. Canadians can now purchase music at Puretracks.com using their Paystone account, funded online from their bank or credit union. Paystones proprietary technology results in low transaction fees that make the collection of pay per use payments as low as $0.25 a practical reality. The service is ideal for selling digital content such as music, video games, online newspapers etc. The Paystone system does not require the use of a credit card, potentially opening online transactions to a completely new group of customers.
