Fujitsu Transaction Solutions and mCom Financial Solutions have released their first commercial automated-teller machine (ATM) application based on a strategic alliance the two firms formed last year.

Named Prism 1:1, the application enables financial institutions to offer new, revenue-generating services designed to meet customer needs on a one-to-one basis. Targeted towards medium and small financial institutions as a way to differentiate their solutions, Prism 1:1 features can include name display; frequent withdrawal preference; displayed account balances; data and event reminders; stock market, sports or weather updates; concert/event ticket dispensing; statement history and e-mail transaction receipts. In 2002, Fujitsu teamed with mCom to create enhanced software and services for the companys ATM product line, which is designed to meet the needs of small- to medium-sized banks and other financial institutions. mCom is a Philadelphia-based software and solutions provider. Prism 1:1 is offered as an optional feature for all Fujitsu Series 8000 ATMs and Windows-upgraded Series 7000 units. It can be purchased through Fujitsus direct sales channel or through its dedicated business partners.
