Principia Partners expands global sales and CRM team

David Kennedy has joined Principia Partners London office as Director, EMEA. In the US, Principias sales management team has expanded to include Thomas Hans, Business Development Manager - CRM and Michael Mangiafico, Business Development Manager. These appointments are the latest in the company’s ongoing global sales and client relationship management expansion activities. David Kennedy will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Principia Partners’ London office and will play a key role in building the company’s presence in EMEA. He brings with him a wealth of experience having worked at Summit Systems for 11 years in several capacities, including development, sales support, customer support and most recently as Managing Director of Summits Global Consulting Services Group. Prior to Summit, Kennedy held several positions in systems development at Westpac and Security Pacific. Thomas Hans will play a major part in defining sales strategy and providing tactical sales support focused on Principia’s large and rapidly expanding client base. Hans brings a portfolio of more than 15 years of experience in capital markets operation management, financial software applications development, as well as pre-sales and post-sales delivery capacities. Hans worked as a senior business analyst with sales responsibilities at Summit Systems and Alterna Technologies. He began his career in capital markets at NatWest, running operations for various trading departments. Michael Mangiafico will be significant to the sales team, bringing a substantial track record of developing relationships with senior board level prospects at financial institutions of all sizes. He has more than 10 years experience in the financial technology space, specializing in managing and closing large, complex projects. Prior to joining Principia, Mangiafico was a senior sales consultant at Charles River Development, a global trade order management system. He has also directed sales efforts at Cicada Systems, a financial information management system; WorldStreet Corporation, a business-to-business electronic commerce network for the investment management community and Reuters America, a leading provider of information services and financial technology. Both Hans and Mangiafico will report to Harvey Rand, EVP Sales and Customer Relationship Management at Principia.
