Thursday 28 February 2008 08:17 CET | News

European consumer payments and cash distribution network Payzone has won a contract with UK-based payment network 3r to provide cash acceptance services, including mobile top-up, utility payments, transport ticketing services and gift cards sales, across 3rs network of 1800 retailers.

Via this partnership, Payzone expects to increase the total volume of transactions processed by around 10 percent in the first year. This is the first outsource deal of this type that Payzone has done in the UK and it will mean significant growth in transaction volumes for the UK business. We are proud to be partnering 3r, which has also been campaigning to remove exclusivity clauses for retailers in the cash acceptance industry, Paul Charmatz, managing director of Payzone revealed.
