Pay By Touch Acquires InterCept Payment Solutions (IPS)

Pay By Touch, has acquired InterCept Payment Solutions (IPS), a merchant processing platform with approximately 18,000 customers.

The acquisition is effective immediately, with Pay By Touch maintaining IPS as a wholly owned and separately operated subsidiary. The IPS acquisition reflects Pay By Touchs ongoing evolution from a single payment solution to a provider of end-to-end biometric authentication and payment processing services. IPS will continue to provide tailored merchant processing solutions to their roster of top-tier clients, including Sony, CNET, Classmates and others.
