Panasonic Security Systems has teamed with Politec, to provide a comprehensive door-to-desktop iris recognition authentication and access management solution.

Politec recently integrated Panasonics BM-ET100 and BM-ET300 Series iris recognition access control systems with Computer Associates (CA) eTrust Single Sign On security management software to create a powerful platform that secures access to physical facilities as well as information networks from a single location. Panasonic offers a comprehensive line of iris recognition systems products including the economical Authenticam designed for an extensive range of cyber-security applications such as network access, automated banking, credit card authorization, health records management and ID authentication, among others. For advanced access control systems integration, Panasonic offers the BM-ET300 and BM-ET500 Iris Recognition Systems. The systems feature Panasonics advanced user guidance technology along with the latest developments in iris recognition technology to deliver fast and accurate system enrollment and authentication. In addition, the Panasonic BM-ET300 features Wiegand compatibility for easy integration with most proximity card based access control systems. eTrust SSO is a critical component of CAs eTrust Identity and Access Management Suite, a complete, standards-based solution for automating and integrating identity and access management across enterprise, customer and partner environments. eTrust SSO enables strong authentication using a range of techniques including PKI, biometrics and hardware tokens -- without requiring changes to business applications.
