Norwegian Sparebanken Vest renews EDB-contract for four years

Sparebanken Vest has signed an agreement with EDB to purchase product solutions and IT operating services for the banks activities. The new contract runs for four years to the end of 2008, and represents total business volume of around NOK 280 million.

Sparebanken Vest will continue to use EDB for its complete portfolio of banking solutions and IT operating services for a further four years. The contract covers solutions and IT operating services in the areas of deposit products, credit and lending, payment services, card and self-service automats, accounting and reporting, customer dialogue and account management, and internet banking for the retail and corporate markets, as well as printing services for customer information. Sparebanken Vest is the third-largest savings bank in Norway, with a customer base of more than 210,000 customers of which 90,000 use internet banking.
