Building on the Success of Ingram Micro, Nimax Expands Point-of-Sale Offerings and Gains Momentum With Addition of IBMs Retail Store Solutions Products

Nimax, a division of Ingram Micro, Inc. and a top distributor of point-of-sale (POS), bar code, and wireless hardware products, have expanded their relationship with IBM to distribute the companys popular Retail Store Solutions products, including its SurePOS(TM) Point-of-Sale systems. Under the new arrangement, Nimax will distribute IBMs POS offerings and work closely with the company to expand customer reach and drive sales. To help support these new offerings and better address customer demands for other Nimax services and manufacturer sales, the distributor has expanded its sales team within Buffalo, New York, San Diego, Calif., and Canada.
