Netherlands Service Provider Strengthens IVR Service Portfolio With Telsis

Monday 16 February 2004 19:45 CET | News

Netherlands Massxess is to strengthen its service portfolio still further with the addition of an Ocean fastSSP switch from the international vendor Telsis.

Massxess self managed IVR (Interactive Voice Response) solutions allow telcos, businesses, government departments and other clients to deploy and change their own interactive services within minutes. The Telsis switch - by acting as an intelligent, programmable front end for the IVR platforms - will add yet more flexibility and programmability to the services Massxess hosts. That capability will be key to many of Massxess customers, and in particular to its largest market: corporate help-desk and government clients where calls are frequently switched to manned contact centres after initial IVR sessions. The Telsis purchase also follows Massxess progression from service provider to carrier and the availability of the more powerful SS7 signalling on its interconnect circuits. With a substantial ISDN-only IVR resource, the company will benefit from the fastSSPs ability to perform seamless SS7/ISDN protocol conversion.
