NCR Introduces Industrys First 1 GHz POS Solution

NCR Corporation announced support for the Intel Pentium III® 1 gigahertz (GHz) processor on its high-performance point-of-sale (POS) workstations.

With the Intel Pentium III 1GHz processor, NCR offers retailers a powerful and scalable platform to run the latest multimedia and electronic marketing applications. The first NCR workstations to feature the Intel processor will be available in the first quarter of 2002.
