National Savings and Investments joins LINK Network

National Savings and Investments (NSandI) has joined Link, the UKs national cash machine network, bringing the total number of Members to 51. Cardholders of NSandIs new Easy Access Savings Account will now be able to access cash and balance enquiries through 47,000 LINK cash machines. In addition to providing access to all LINK-branded cash machines, LINKs network infrastructure - which connects LINK to Post Office systems as part of the Governments universal banking programme - has enabled customers of the new NSandI account to use 38,000 Post Office counters to make cheque and cash deposits, check their balance and withdraw their cash, making a total of over 85,000 service points. ATMOS, LINKs outsourcing division, is also supplying a number of services in support of the NSandI initiative including its new card management system, transaction processing / authorisations and settlement (via LINK).
