Monday 8 November 2004 16:00 CET | News

NCR has signed an agreement with Bank of America to provide APTRA Edge open-architecture, client-server software to powerthe banks advanced-function automated teller machine (ATM) channel.

This move will allow Bank of America to deploy a single application environment across our multivendor ATM network of more than 16,000 ATMs and gives them the ability to decrease the time and cost involved in developing and initiating new functions across our network. More than 70 percent of all multivendor projects worldwide currently run on NCRs Windows-based APTRA platform, which enables advanced transactions and relationship-driven services, such as personal preferences, voice guidance and No Envelope Deposit.
