MSI Leads ISO Industry into Ethernet-based Payments

Monday 19 April 2004 09:37 CET | News

Merchant Services, Inc. (MSI), is leading the ISO industry into Ethernet-based payments with an installation of the VeriFone Omni 3750 Internet Protocol (IP) payment terminal at ProWash of Union, New Jersey.

By connecting the POS terminal to the existing DSL router, MSI can achieve an always-on connection that eliminates the normal dial up time and complete payment transactions in as little as four seconds. The VeriFone Omni 3750 IP is an all-in-one payment terminal featuring a built-in jam-proof printer and a PIN pad for debit card acceptance as well as both Ethernet and dial-up communications capability. MSI offers gift cards, prepaid phone cards, electronic check processing and other services to enhance the value of the Omni 3750 to its merchant customers.
