The Bank of East Asia launched the RMB credit card, joining the ranks of other seven local banks to provide such services.

So far, more than 50,000 RMB credit cards were issued here by local banks since the first RMB card was issued by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) in April. In addition to services available through credit cards, some local banks also provide one-stop RMB services. These include RMB saving and time deposits, RMB exchange and remittance services, Cyberbanking RMB card services and real-time fun transfers to the Chinese mainland.
