MoneyGram partners Shinhan Bank for money transfer services in South Korea

Global payment services provider MoneyGram International has teamed up with financial services provider Shinhan Bank to offer MoneyGram money transfer service at the banks 850 branch locations.

As a result of the agreement with Shinhan Bank, MoneyGram will almost double its agent network in South Korea. The number of MoneyGram agent locations in the Asia Pacific region reaches 17,000 and the company has been offering services in South Korea since 2001 by partnering with agents Woori Bank and Kyongnam Bank.
