MoneyGram, NetSpend enter reload agreement

Reloadable prepaid debit cards and card services provider NetSpend has signed a deal with global money transfer company MoneyGram International.

Under the terms of the agreement, NetSpend prepaid debit cardholders can add value to their cards at one of the 40,000 MoneyGram ExpressPayment agent locations in the US. The number of locations where NetSpend customers can reload their prepaid debit cards has now reached 90,000.

The NetSpend prepaid card network includes companies on the unbanked and underbanked markets. The companys debit cards enable customers to make purchases, pay bills, secure reservations and shop online without the need for a bank account or credit history.
