Medius teams with Nomentia to extend its financial capabilities

Wednesday 2 March 2022 12:54 CET | News

Sweden-based automation company Medius has partnered with money management institution Nomentia to augment its global payments and cash management services.

The partnership is the latest step in developing Medius's integrated payments offering across global markets. Nomentia automates payments, delivering banking integration for businesses looking to benefit from Medius Pay's gateway for payments visibility and control.

With an HQ in Finland, the Nomentia partnership is relevant to Medius's Nordic customers, offering integrations with all the region's main banks. The partnership enables Nordic customers to react to in-market developments, such as the P27 initiative, which aims to establish a single pan-Nordic payment infrastructure for the region's 27 million citizens.

Medius representatives said that bank fees, foreign exchange fees, and complex processes are some of the complications businesses have to deal with when processing payments. With Medius Pay's deployment and native Nomentia integration, their customers can realise all these services with an accelerated time to value. For their Nordic customers, the partnership enables them to capitalise on the P27 initiative which is driving digitalisation of payments, they added.
