MasterCard names Michael Manchisi chief technology officer

MasterCard has appointed Michael Manchisi as the companys chief technology officer. Manchisi succeeds Rob Reeg who in May was named president of the global technology and operations after holding the position on a temporary basis since January.

Manchisi is to be responsible for computer infrastructure and operations, network engineering, customer support, processing systems and service definition and customer technology relationship management.He has been part of the MasterCard team for 21 years and most recently he served as group executive, strategic account management. Manchisi has also held senior positions in MasterCard corporate and regional finance, customer service and computer and network services.
