UK-based LINK processes over two billion ATM transactions per year (2003: 2.25 billion) for the UKs largest financial institutions and independent ATM operators. In addition to providing ATM transaction switching and settlement to its network members, LINK provides ATM management and card services via ATMOS -- its ATM outsource service. Developed by Sydney-based Integrated Research (IR), PROGNOSIS manages the business-critical systems for many of the worlds largest banks, financial institutions, healthcare providers, telcos and retailers. PROGNOSIS gives LINK a geographical view of ATM states to diagnose faults and monitor the health of the network. PROGNOSIS is currently in the final stages of deployment at LINK, with a full operational rollout scheduled this month.
