Joie de Vivre (JDV) Hospitality has selected the MICROS OPERA Property Management System (PMS), OPERA Sales & Catering Systems (S&C), and MICROS 3700 Point-of-Sale System (POS) for its latest entry into the San Francisco market, the 199-room Hotel Vitale.

Described as Americas first post-hip boutique hotel, Hotel Vitale will bring upscale luxury targeting the business and leisure travelers. This new landmark building overlooks the waterfront and is located across from the historic Ferry Building Marketplace at the corner of Mission Street and The Embarcadero in San Francisco. MICROS OPERA is a seamlessly integrated solution, allowing Hotel Vitale to run both the property management system and the sales & catering system from a single database. The MICROS OPERA solution will also provide 2-way GDS connectivity for real-time access to inventory levels. Hotel Vitale is the third installation of the OPERA platform for JDV Hospitality. Three other JDV Hospitality properties continue to use the MICROS-Fidelio Version 6 PMS.
