Johnny Rockets Installing New POS Solution

The Johnny Rockets Group, has selected NCR and Aloha for a point-of-sale (POS) solution being rolled out to 42 of its 144 restaurants.

Johnny Rockets, known for its fun, all-American diner-style atmosphere, is installing Alohas TableService software with NCR RealPOS 62 workstations. The rollout is underway and is scheduled for completion in mid-2004. The NCR RealPOS 62 is a touchscreen POS workstation that provides an optimum combination of performance, reliability and affordability. Featuring advanced technology and flexible configuration options to help improve efficiency and customer service, the NCR RealPOS 62 is retail-hardened to withstand the bumps and spills of harsh environments, meaning less downtime while providing years of dependable operation. Aloha TableService is a comprehensive solution that offers advanced POS functionality, intuitive Windows-based touch screens, open architecture, built-in redundancy, extensive front-of-house reporting, simple check or item splitting and combining functionality, job-code-specific menu assignment and much more to meet the needs of foodservice operators.
