Iridian Announces Release of IrisKey, the New Compressed IrisCode Template

Iridian Technologies new IrisKey template technology is now available as part of Iridians PrivateID/KnoWho architecture. The IrisKey template technology has been developed specifically to allow storage of two IrisCode templates on media with limited storage capability such as 2-D barcodes, smart cards, and magnetic stripe cards. A template size reduction from 688 bytes to 230 bytes provides more than enough room for two templates plus application-specific information on these types of media. The IrisKey template will be used specifically for one-to-one matching applications where storage space is at a premium. The IrisKey template still maintains the same interoperability, privacy, and security of Iridians Proof Positive technologies.
