Ingrian Networks Appoints V. P. of Business Development

Ingrian Networks has appointed Eli Kalil as vice president of business development.

Kalil will be responsible for generating business alliances, developing channels that augment Ingrians solutions, and helping build on Ingrians leadership position in the emerging data privacy market. Kalil comes to Ingrian Networks with over 26 years of technology and executive management experience. Most recently he was vice president of business development at SilverBack Technologies, where he spearheaded joint marketing and alliances with NetScreen, Packeteer, WatchGuard, and IBM/Avnet, to name just a few. While at SilverBack, Kalil established the companys alliance partnership program, which had grown to include over 14 technology alliance relationships. Prior to SilverBack, Kalil was vice president of sales channels and alliances at RSA Security, where he directed all phases of the Americas channel program and drove its business development activities with large systems integrators, such as IBM Global, KPMG, Accenture, and others. Kalils organization ran RSAs VAR, SI, and two-tier distribution channel, which during his tenure grew from $20M in 2000 to $100M in 2003. Kalil also held senior executive sales and marketing positions at IBM and PictureTel, which was acquired by Polycom, and CLARiiON, which was purchased by EMC.
