Ingenicos I-Series products receive Class B certification from Chase Paymentech

The certification opens up a significant new sales channel for Ingenicos UNICAPT 32-based products. A significant benefit of using these products is that Chase Paymentechs custom software application can be easily ported over to other Ingenico U 32-based products quickly and with minimal effort. The Ingenico 7780 is a secure, short-range portable transaction terminal that allows credit, PIN debit, stored value and EBT payment to be brought to the customer. With a range of over 300 feet, the i7780 is ideally suited for Pay@Table and curbside applications in restaurants and bars, for in car service at drive-in quick lube chains and retail merchants looking to maintain clutter free display cases, use at sidewalk sales, or anywhere a wireless terminal would improve customer service or operating efficiencies. The i5100 is an IP-enabled countertop transaction terminal capable of operating in either dial or IP communication modes. Operating in IP transaction speeds are decreased to as few as 4 seconds, thus offering the merchant improved checkout speed and service. Capable of handling credit, debit, and other magnetic card transactions such as loyalty, prepaid and more, the i5100 is a versatile, robust and cost efficient way for merchants everywhere to accept electronic payments. Additionally, if the merchant wishes to make PIN entry more convenient or private, the i3010 can be easily attached to the i5100 or other terminal products. The certified application was custom developed for Chase Paymentech by Ingenico and includes a host of features to allow payment benefits for a wide range of industries including retail, restaurant, convenience stores and more.
