Info Touch Technologies Broadens Relationship with Alimentation Couche-Tard

Macs Convenience Stores a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard, will expand on Couche-Tards successful US-based ZapLink e-services program into the Canadian market. Initial deployments will be in 34 Vancouver-area Macs convenience stores.Powered by Info-Touchs industry leading Surfnet Premiere software, the ZapLink network was launched in Phoenix, Arizona in 2001 by The Circle K Corporation, which operates 1,663 convenience stores in 16 states. ZapLink e-service terminals are now operating in 2 states enabling customers to perform a wide range of transactions, from bill payments to mobile content purchases, quickly and easily using cash and credit cards. Couche-Tard acquired Circle K in December, 2003 from ConocoPhillips Corporation, making it the fourth largest convenience store operator in North America with a combined network of 4,672 stores. Info Touch will deploy and manage the Canadian network of ZapLink e-service terminals. Macs and Info Touch will receive recurring transactional revenues from applications such as Wi-Fi, Bill Payment, mobile content (ring tones, graphics and games), prepaid wireless, long-distance, money order, and money transfer.
