Identix Names Elissa Lindsoe as Chief Financial Officer

Security industry veteran, Elissa J. Lindsoe, has joined Identix Incorporated as Chief Financial Officer effective June 21, 2004.

Lindsoe brings over 14 years of financial experience to her role with Identix, including more than seven years of network and identification security industry experience in senior financial positions with publicly-traded, Secure Computing Corporation, a $100 million in annual revenue global provider of network security products, including firewalls, user identification and authorization software, and Web filtering applications. Lindsoe, who was most recently Vice President & Treasurer of Secure, will report to Atick, and will be responsible for the Companys finance organization including: Controller functions, Financial Planning and Analysis, SEC Filings, Risk management, Tax and Corporate Finance. In her position as Vice President & Treasurer for Secure for the past three years, Lindsoe served as a member of the Companys executive leadership team with financial responsibilities including day-to-day management of corporate tax and treasury activities; business transaction structuring; business valuation assessment; SEC compliance; mergers and acquisitions evaluation and execution; cash/investment management; banking and transfer agent relationships; corporate governance practices; and investor relations. From 1997 to 2001, Lindsoe was Director of Finance and Controller for Secure, with responsibilities including managing the annual audit and quarterly review process with the Companys outside accounting firm; directing the annual and interim financial reporting including SEC filings; ensuring all contracts were in compliance with revenue recognition rules (SOP 97-2, SAB 101, SOP 81-1) and the federal GSA schedule requirements; and managing the general accounting, credit and collections, payroll, accounts payable, international, cost accounting, fixed asset and federal contract accounting groups. Prior to her tenure with Secure, Lindsoe served for more than seven years in positions of ever increasing financial responsibility with Burnsville, MN-based MVE, INC., a $220 million in annual revenue manufacturer of industrial, medical and restaurant cryogenics (MVE was acquired by Chart Industries in 1999) and with the Minnesota arm of Honeywell, Incorporated. Lindsoe earned a BA in Accounting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She resides in Shoreview, MN with her husband and three children.
