HBOS Choose NCR to Supply ATM Services

Friday 17 October 2003 22:55 CET | News

NCR has signed a multimillion-dollar contract with HBOS, to supply hardware maintenance and support services across its entire automated teller machine (ATM) network, made up of 3,400 NCR ATMs and 350 Fujitsu ATMs.

The three-year contract replaces the seven suppliers, including Unisys and ICL, currently managing HBOS? ATM services. This commitment follows an approximate $18.7 million deal of NCR APTRA multivendor ATM software and upgrade kits in November 2002. As part of the deal NCR will offer availability consulting. NCR will also introduce a tiered service program combined with stringent service levels agreements to reduce fault duration and increase ATM availability.
