Mr. Cohens appointment coincides with MasterCard Canada increasing its acquirer presence on the board. Previously, the Canadian board was seated exclusively with MasterCard executives and issuing-side representatives. Global Payments is one of the leading payment processors in Canada, as well as North America. Mr. Cohen joined Global in 2001 and helped lead the Companys entry and success within the Canadian market.
